I need help with the ECU....

I just bought a jdm B16 head imported from japan for my 96 integra LS im goin for LS vtec i bought the whole head for 200 bucks come wit jdm manifold and vtec solenoid. but im wonderin if i ihave to upgrade my ECU or not and im confusing if i have OBD1 or OBD2 on my stock 96 LS integra. or can i just get a vtec controller? do i have to upgrade my ECU still if i get VTEC controller? please gimme any opinion thank you guys... any opinion will help ....

96 integra (USDM) is OBD2. as for the ecu, get a p28 and chip it or some other oem vtec ecu I guess, not sure.

YOu have to change your ECU regardless since yours does not control VTEC. Get a Hondata while you are in the process of getting a new ECU. FInd a OBD1 P72 or P28 (Cheaper).
