civic type r internals

anyone swapped them out with there r's or even gsr's? Any REAL notices? Anyone got a dyno chart of before and after? My friend has a gsr also and wants to rebuild it with ctr pistons and ctr cams. He claims he'll get 200hp to the ground with i/h/h and proper fuel and tuning. Think he can?

With lots of good tuning yes, people have cracked 200whp on stock ITR cams.

00/01 ITR Cams and CTR cams are so close it isn't worth changing them out. I woudl say 200 whp on a dynojet is a bit optimistic but possible. I think he should look more for about 190-195 depending on other parts and tuning.

could that tuning be possible using only chipped ecu and apexi vafc? No hondata.

very very unlikely. Tuning to egt those numbers needs to be a standalong that handles fuel tables and ignition tables.
