So I have really bad wheel hop. Well I looked into the Jimfab bars and what not. With my intercooler piping I don't think it will work. I want to get some motor mounts and wanted some advise and personal reviews from you guys. Where did you get yours? What brand? How much? .....thanks

I'm using Energy Suspension urathane mounts on my car. They come in two colors, either black or red. Once they're in, you'll feel a little more vibration in the car since the motor isn't jiggling back and forth as much. Cost on them is under $70 bucks (seems like they were like 50-60 bucks or so). I can actually get them for you if you decire...just gotta call on the pricing. PM me if you want me to price them for ya.

Actually did a little search for them and they're even cheaper than I expected....

Erik, on uyour car the setup I would do is Jim Fab 3 mount set (The front lowers and the Rear). I would then get HASport drivers side and passenger side mounts. The HASport mounts are nice looking and you can get both JimFab and HASport mounts in soft compounds like 60A-62A.

I have seen pics your car so for the visible mounts HASPort is the way to go for appearance and the Jim Fab is the way to go for cost.

Be prepared for additional vibration.

Surprisingly, some people that had only the 2 JimFab torque mounts said that adding a rear mount or even having all 5 mounts helped to reduce vibrations some.

Trey, Tony and links to sites that have them? Also are the HASport's inserts or the whole mount?

http://www.hasport.com, http://www.jimfab.com and try emailing adrian@hybridgarage.com and telling him I sent you for Hasport mounts to get a good price quote.

Whole HAsport mounts not just inserts. Same with JimFab

Most common 5 mount setups were front lowers and rear JimFabs with upper front HASport. Or, front lower JimFabs and upper front and rear HASports. HASports and JimFabs are both complete mounts.

Lots of good posts on HondaTech if you search "jimfab" and "hasport."

Thanks guys. The HASport ones look really good. I think I'm just going to do them all HASports...thanks for the links Trey and thanks for the help Tony.

Erik, get the Z10 set up, it wouldn't clear my plumbing either, I had to cut about 2 inches off the pipe that comes out of the turbo, I also had to change my turbo oil drain to clear the bar. It was definitely worth it, my car has absolutely zero wheel hop and I have stock engine mounts.

Z10 and jimfab are about the same....you could always make your own solid mounts but be prepared for massive vibration but I can definitly say you will have no hop

Erik,
I will dig up some pics.
You can get somewhat of a view of everything affected in this picture
Image
You can see the lower boost pipe, the oil drain, and the Z10 strut rod underneath all of it. It's a tight fit for sure. The only problem I had and still have is that the left rod rubs my Moroso pan under some conditions. If you have a stock pan you will have plenty of room.

Thanks J, I think I understand a little more.
