Hey guy! I was installing my Comptech header only to find I need to swap out the cat to a 98+ so I was pissed to put the stock back on (had to work the next day.) Anyway I over torqued two bolts (should've learned the first time) with my new torque wrench (no reading intsruction for me) and broke the heads off. Any advice on drilling them out? I'm thinking about drilling in small diameter screws with Locite treadlocker into them as not to increase the bore and thread pitch. Are there specific tools for removing broken bolts? Anyone who had this problem on a "friend's" car before, please share your experience - pros & cons. Need to know so I don't monkey up (*insert monkey screech here*) again. I appreciate all advice and postive criticisms. Thank you.

Ive done the same thing before, i think most people who arent totaly anal rententive have. You are saved, go to sears and by the vermont american bolt/screw removal kit. Doesnt cost too much, you drill a hole with the supplied bit and then thread in the removal bit wich has left hand threads so that as you back the broken stud out it tightens itself, good luck!

It happens. Good luck with iut. THere are a few different extraction kits you can use.

And it should be 99+ cat the integra exhaust had the same length until 1999. I am assuming this is a 94-98 GSR? All LA and ITR exhaust lengths were the same.

go to any local hardware store and ask them where there "EASY OUTS" are located... You'll have to drill a small hole into the broken off bolt, then you'll tap the "easy out" into the hole using a hammer then using a wrench you'll be able to back out the broken screw... easy fix, don't stress out about it to much.
