I posted before about buying the high flow cat with the flanges welded on and told ya I'd do an update when it all got put on. I put the JDM DC Sports 4-1 header, carsound high flow cat, and Apexi World Sport cat back exhaust on this weekend. I must add that everything fit PERFECT, not one problem at all. I've only driven it for 3 days now but so far there is virtually no sound change with the exhaust system at all, sounds stock as can be but I'm sure it will get louder as time goes by. There is deffinitely a noticeable change in top end and I even feel more power right off the bat as opposed to some saying you lose low end torque or power with the 4-1 header. I am very happy with the system. Also put some MSD 8.5 spark plug wires and NGK Iridium plugs in about a week ago, *shurgs* nothing special, maybe SLIGHT throttle response increase. Valve cover comes out dull in the picture, I don't know.

Looks good...in a year or two or three, you'll regret getting ceramic though...

Did you get a cat from SMSP? Did he give you the JDM donut?

Your catback is really cutting off flow...get a 2.5" and you'll really reap the results....after tuning of course.

I had ceramic for 2 years on my previous car without any troubles. I was thinking stainless with the header but for $100 more and hearing a few people say that it looks like crap a few weeks after you get it scared me off. And I didn't have the money for the SMSP or Spoon header type either. =( It's not the SMSP cat but I do have the donut. Yea, the 2.5" would be better but I wanted the quietest on the market, I had the loud cat back on my previous car and really enjoyed the silence of the stock exhaust when I purchased this car.

Haha, I'm not sure about the intake. I bought the car from a 49 year old guy who bought it brand new and the intake was all ready on it. Not sure what the newer ones look like. =)

I ran a ceramic on my 94 Civic Si for 6 years (94-00) and never had any problems with it. It looked brand new when I sold it to go turbo.
