question on wheel diameter & suspension

I'm riding on Koni yellows and Comptech springs. Right now I have the old 14" gsr wheels with 70 series tires and it floats like a boat. I have heard different opinions regarding ride quality and wheel diameter. Some say 17's rides too rough, but others say the stiffer sidewalls will transmit rebound to the shocks better for quicker dampening. On my setup, will 17's with 45 series ride smooth enough for daily driving? I'm deciding between 15's and 17's and would rather go with something bigger since it's aftermarket. Please share your experiences.

Huh? I thought 14" wheels won't fit on the ITR (won't clear the front calipers)... ???

Is it a DC2 GS-R you're talking about?

I don't think I'd put 17" wheels on a DC2. :) On the other hand, the more recently designed EP3 seems to do just fine w/17" wheels.

Better tell us more.

yes

It's a gsr. What else do you need to know?

Why we're talking about a GS-R on an ITR board, maybe? Image

Are you saying that the STI and EVO dropped the resale value of the ITR? Well those cars are out now and the resale value of the ITR didn't seem to be affected.
BTW, why not 16" wheels?
