Need Help!!!!!!! My ITR burns gas like crazy......

My ITR 99 about 120k kms.
full gas just run about 260km....
I dont use the A/C that much, and never push hard on it. really have no idea about this now....

I would check the following...1) make sure the gas gauge is reading correctly.. how many liters to fill the car up? 2) Make sure that the IAT sensor is reading ok.. if its not and thinks the air is colder than it really is.. then it uses alot more fuel... and the MAP sensor too... althoughits unlikely... Is your car moded at all? Any fuel computers?

260km can be about right if you are city driving and always in the V-tec.

My mileage varies from 500km high road trips, 375km combined city/highway no Vtec, 250 km hard city driving and a measly 150km hard track use!

All this is based on 35-40 litre fill up and 94 oct.

If your car drinks too much, look at the O2 sensor also. Don't forget basics like the cap-rotor and plugs!

It is hard to say, over the net, but if you bring it in to a competant shop...they will know where to look.

Usually idle and residue on the rear bumper cover are signs of fuel or ignition mods...other than the obvious under the hood.
