hey everyone, i've been on this forum for a few months now, been looking for the right type-r...
it's been really tough to find an original type r in quebec/ontario...
although Montreal has a really high theft rate, i've always wanted to get an R...
en t'cas, i think if the cars i'm looking at right now aren't good, i'm just gonna go for a GLI (VW).
well, i went down to Toronto yesterday to checkout a 2001 type r, with 42k KMS, and this is the one with the Red Interior.
what was weird was the fact that is had the red seats, BUT the door panels were black on black, not red on black... is this normal?
and the black itself, was definately not even from the black interior type r...
and i noticed that the center console and heating ducts and pw controls were not carbon fiber. when i told the dealer this, he told me that it was just a package...
is this true??

I have a 2001 model. The red seats came from the last year it came out in Canada: therefore 2001. I'll check the rest of the info. I'll take a few pictures so that you can check it out.

p.s. Do try and get one, it's the most fun and enjoyable car I have driven so far - that I could afford.

lol I guess u dont know ur itr's,

2001 comes with reds doesnt come with red door panels.

and the center console is black too with red stiching.

and the carbon fiber trim u do it urself. they dont come factory like that.
