ARIZONA ITR meet

I think it's about time some R's got together in Arizona! Phoenix? Tucson? Up North (Prescott/Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff)? Any ideas?
I bet a lot of people (like myself) can't afford track fees, so a free get together/drive/night o' fun would be just as great.
All that matters is that a bunch of R's get together to turn some heads!
I'm thinking... sometime this summer. Post ideas and prospective dates.

What's your city? I go between Phoenix and Tucson so either is fine with me. I might be in Tucson for summer school (June 06 - July 07), but that's TBD based on financial aid.
Know any other R's?

Ok, so I know I started this thread and it's about time we all get together and do something. Sorry the summer flew by and I couldn't get away from school/work.
Anyway, so people who want to participate should copy and paste the section below with their suggestions for a meet. Don't forget to include cost, attire, and anything important that might help people decide if they want to go!
-City:
-Estimated date(s):
-Estimated time(s):
-Location(s)/event(s):
-Other info.:
Ok, here's mine (but it might change with time):
-City: Phoenix/Tucson or up north for the cooler climate
-Estimated date(s): Any weekend, but that might change if I get a job.
-Estimated time(s): Any time
-Location(s)/event(s): I can't afford to go race, but I'm happy to watch. We could go for a scenic drive somewhere. Eh? Oh?
-Other info.: Ummmm, maybe when I think of specific events.
Ok, so I'll start looking for stuff to do and you people should post and hunt down others. I wouldn't even mind if other types of cars came - as long as they're not, you know, um... Nissan Sentras with R stickers.
By the way, am I the only R girl in AZ?

-City: PHOENIX
-Estimated date(s): Any time on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, I have school and work Monday - Thursday
-Estimated time(s):Not before 9:00am
-Location(s)/event(s): We can have a dyno day at my friends dyno in Phoenix, go for a drive in the twisties up north or in October, it is cool enough for a desert run.
Lastly, we could meet at the Pavillions on a Saturday.
I am game for anything. Let me know. You can email me at

Yo, HOOKERS!
98 Spec R and I had a two-car R meet (last minute decision) on Sunday September 4th.
More people need to express interest so we can meet up!
