Shitty luck man, I did the same thing at the track even after 10 years beating on honda gearboxes. My R bent all the exhaust valves. It cost me over $1500 cdn to fix it and have the car running again. While the head is off you have to decide what you want to do in the future. Cams, turbo, supercharger? I just wanted mine stock and it cost $ if youre adding cams you should do the valvetrain now. If want a litttle more power you can mill the head but you have to be careful cause some cams will have clearance issues. You could port but the head already flows well. Its all up to how much $ you have and how fast you want your car to go. I figure my motor hit 12000 when I hit 2nd instead of 4th. You live you learn!

Consider yourself lucky. No telling the damage if one of the heads broke off. My father did the same thing on a joy ride and blew one of mine right off. I was extremely lucky not to damage the bottom end or anything else. Oh and $2200 that is CRAZY
Keep us posted!
