i was wondering if anyone in here had rota rims, preferably c10's or slipstream. I heard that they were weak and tend to crack easily at high tempand werent good for autox or road course. is that true? for the owners, did the wheels have any problems? are they good? any bad expiriences? any pix?
oh yea and also does any one here have kosei k1 (the old ones),what is ur opinion on it. any pix?
thanx

I have both Rota SS and the Kosei k1, Up until recently I have never had a problem with the Rotas but From 4 years of NYC streets they are all bent slightly. I still drive on them and would even track on them because they are not bad at all. As for the Kosei k1s I have them for less then a year but the previous onwers used them for track events only. They are in mint condition and show no signs of any trouble. I currently use RA1s on the Kosei k1s and MXs on the rotas.
Either rim set should be fine for what you need.

the rota ss are prob the best bang for buck wheel out there, I sported a set on my gsr for a couple of years, our roads in san antonio probably not as bad as nyc though

I have a set of Slipstreams and Subzeros as well as TD pro Race 1 and they are all doing fine.
The Rotas have 3 years of Montreal potholes and over 100 track days with no bends nor cracks.
The Rotas are 6.5 wide and the TDs are 7.0. Eventually the Rotas will be for sale as i get more TD's.

I have the C10's. I use them on the street every once in a while, haven't on the track. No issues.
