are any of you guys running Axxis pads on stock rotors?? Do all the modles of Axxis pads work with stock rotors?? I have a 2000 ITR, and I am not sure which ones to get for my car. I am on stock rotors, and my car is only used for daily driving. I want performance brake pads but which ones wuld best suit me??

Metal master?? Ultimate?? Duluxe?? Or regular??

Years ago I used Axxis Ultimates on my car w/no issues at all. Used on both street and track.

You might want to ring up Cobalt Friction and get some GT-Sports. Andie looked at the Axxis Ultimates and designed the GT-Sports to be better than they are.

Yep, sure did. Why would you think it'd be a problem?

For over a year I had Axxis ulitimates on stock rotors, No problems one bit. But you will notice a bit more brake pad dust then stock pads.
But the pedal and pwer to stop is a bunch better.
If you are planning to try a HPDE these pads will work for a little while, but once you start getting faster you will be able to fade them.

Use them, You will be happy.

I heard that metal master pads will ruin stock rotors, so i jsut wanted to make sure about the Ultimates.

And are the ultimates really noises since they are not organic??

For regular daily driving do you recomend, the Ulitimates or the Deluxe??

and the Axxis website basically scores all technical data between the Ultimates and the Deluxe plus the same?? I just do not want brakes that are going to squeek like crazy, and how can i prevent this? Some type of grease??

I think the Ultimates are just the best compromise in that brand for the kind of driving that ITR owners tend to do and the kind of performance they tend to demand.

I'd really rather have Cobalt Friction GT Sports for street use. :)

so did you have any major squeeking with your brakes?? and overall were you happy with everyday street use??

I just want to know if organic brakes like the Deluxe pluses are better for daily driving than high performance ceramic like the Ultimates??

I wouldn't say it was major squeeking, no. Yes, I thought they were just fine for street use and enthusiastic driving.

I have GT Sports on my daily driver EP3 right now, and they do not seem to squeak at all.

:D

I run GT's on my EP3 daily and love them. But if you want something a bit less, the Ultimates are great too.

Hello, I was looking to purchase Axxis Pads as well and I was wondering what is the exact different between the Metal Masters and the Ultimate?
Which is better and why? They really don't give a good explanation on the web-site. Anyone have any answers?

I suggest you call Cobalt frictions and ask, You will not get a better answer any where else.
