garrett gt30r turbo kit
yeah baby!
my question is:
my itr is stock all except for a (toda header) an (omni power testpipe) and a (dc cat-back exhaust). I know I'll have to take off my so sweet toda header
. But could my car handle that turbo at like 6-8psi as long as I got like 760cc injectors?

I think it's a bit big to just get that little PSI out of, meaning for the spool time of that size turbo I think you would be much better off getting a smaller turbo that will spool faster and just hold peak boost until redline (instead of building peak boost at 4500+ RPM). That's just my opinion though...I could be wrong.

your car can handle the turbo with some good tuning and low boost but like Sprockett said it is a pretty big turbo for such little psi. i run the GT30R on my car, i love it. but im running 17-18 psi on pump gas and 23psi on race gas. maybe look into something a little smaller, like a T28 or even a GT28RS.

Thanks for the advice. 1320blitz are you running an itr motor? and if so do you have block and headwork done? Maybey the GT28RS would be a good route. Is is dual ball berring as well? My thing is I want to build a road course car for places such as Road Atlanta and VIR. right now I dont have $$$ for getting my heads ported, three angle valve job or anything of that nature. But when x-mas rolls around i sould have enough for a full kit for the GT30R

im still useing my orginial B18C5 but i have a golden eagle sleeved block(83mm), arias pistons, and eagle rods. the head, cams, intake, valves, throttle body are all stock. my turbo is also duel BB. we used a GT28RS on a nissan 240 which i personally think would be an excellent turbo for a road coarse car or even a GT2871, which is one step lower than a GT30R.The effiency range for the GT30R is at about 23psi, at that boost level i made 517hp and 351tq. at that power level hooking up on 0 treadwear drag radials doent happen till the top of third gear or 4th(depending what kind of pavement i was on). my car is more set up for drag than roadcoarse.

Plans are as follows: Full Race GT30R Turbo Kit, Crower Stage 2 Turbo FI cams, TODA Cam Gears, TODA Timing Belt, Crower Rods, Wiseco B-Series Low Compression Forged Pistons 8.9:1, 1mm TODA Head Gasket, Edelbrock Victor-X Intake Manifold, Big Bore Throttle Body 72mm, a good fuel pump and regulartor (haven't decided what yet), NO CAT GT World Spec Exhaust, AEM Tru Power Pulleys, Port and Polish, 3 angle valve job, sleeved block, Quaife A.T.B. LSD, and an AEM EMS.
