Greetings from Tokyo!
Wassup Honda fans around the world! I posted these pics in the Super Honda forum and BBasso invited me to join this forum. Great forum you have guys!
I am Kenjiro Algers Hayashi. A Japanese British dude now living in Japan. I just wanna show all you Type R lovers my 1999 -GF-DC2 Type Rx.
The Rx is a last edition JDM model that includes Honda Keyless Entry, 6 speakers, aluminium pedals and electric folding mirrors. Otherwise its a JDM '98 Spec.
I export used and new cars from Japan worldwide and also am a member of Type One workshop, Spoon Sports. I also market and sell Spoon parts.
Here are some travel pics taken in and around Tokyo where I live. I will post better pics in the future.
Not many mods. I intend to leave it as stock as possible.
Ohlins suspension
Sustec Rear Strut Tower Bar
Varis Carbon Fibre Hood
Spoon Air Cleaner
This is me. In Shibuya (you will see it in GT4 photo mode) Also the reason the number plate is different from the above pics is because in Japan you need to change the registration plate everytime you change owners.
Interior prior to purchase. Still the same though, just cleaner.
Engine. Yes its stock. Except the filter element.

Cheaper than the states
I checked out a few type R's since iv'e been here in Japan. They are super cheap over here as compared to the states, there's about 8 of them where I live. do you go to Okutama? me and a few of my Japanese friends go there to race in the mountains, right now I have a 1999 silvia spec R it drifts good in the mountains. But I miss my typeR I think I might buy a 98 model myself. The only thing I hate about Japan is that damn JCI car inspection crap it's just a scheme for the gov to make money. Other than that cars are a dime a dozen run em and junk em!!!

Re: Greetings from Tokyo!
Do you work at Type One? I've been there more than a few times and I only see the same employee over and over. He's very helpful and friendly.
Do you do track days? There's still space for a track day at Tsukuba on the 14th, if you're interested. I'd love to run with another basically stock ITR.
