Short video of my ITR

Post by Sprockett »

Got the ITR back together this week so I decided to take it out for a short test run down the block. Didn't want to run it too much, so the video is not all that exciting, but I hope you like it :P

I basically just wanted to make sure everything was holding together OK, that I wasn't losing boost anywhere, etc. Didn't want to piss off the neighbors either ;)

Here's my camera mount LOL. It'll do for now.

I was just shifting really slow at first, a little faster at the end...didn't take it up very high either. I was mainly concerned with making sure the boost stayed constant (I had taken apart my turbo for the first time so I wanted to make sure everything was working OK) so I wanted it to stay spooled. That's the only reason I shifted like that :)

Well, it spins the wheels that's for sure. Even on the driest of pavement on a hot day it'll spin the tires in second when it hits the crossover point. In 3rd-5th it's pretty nice though...not as big of a jump as you might think, but it lurches ahead a bit more.

woops! Shows how much I was paying attention. Any 1/4 mile numbers yet? The car sounds quite nice.
