Hello,
My name is Vukasovic Neven,I am from Sarajevo(Winter Olimpics 1984,war 1992-1996),Bosnia and Herzegovina,Europe.I drive hill-climbing races for a very long time ,last 6 years with Integra Type R which has stock engine ,Mugen ECU(V-tec at 52oo instead 5700 RPM)and Mugen exshaust from cat back.I have planned to change class in this year after winning previous 6.This new class allowes increasing total displacement at 2,0 L(Crower or similar stroker kit 83x92mm,Crower or other camshafts, valve train sprokets,Toda or other clutch kit,CR cca 12,5 : 1 etc.My greatest concerne is ECU because my ,both stock P73 and Mugen ,are not programmable as fara as I know.I have red at ITRCA about piggy -back and stand alone sistems but I dont know what does it mean?I am not in a situation to find other ECU which could be suitable because, believe it or not ,in Bosnia there is no Honda dealer as well ,it is not possible to find any power parts for Honda! and no other ECU like P28 or P72 wich could be tuned by Hondata S 200 or similar.
my Integra is reliable car with 22000 KM,witthout any retirements because of technical problems ,it has cca 21o HP on cranck, short gear box with max.speed 180 km/h at 9ooo rpm,13,6 -14,5 for 402 m.
Ch.nr.JHMDC2310WS002381,eng.B18C61002270.
Also tell me more about your experiences with Eric s racing and Crower power parts for Integra.
Thank you.

Sandor,
Ahaha...I had this big response written out but deleted it because I thought it was too much information. I guess the first few questions I have for you are:
1) Do you have access to a shop that can tune your car?
2) Do you know how to tune your own car?

Well since you seem to know the power output of your car, then I will assume you have a shop that has a dyno. Thats your 1st step in tuning! The next step is playing with settings(to put it easily). A programable ECU like Hondata or AEM EMS and a WIDE RANGE of other's are what you WILL need.

Since there is a shop in Germany capable of tuning your car on a dyno, then my next question is:
What programs are they capable of tuning?

Obviously there is no help for my Type R in America
!
I put a lot of questions but didn't get answer on any of them...
I thought this is the right place to post my questions (an integra type r only forum) but I guess I was wrong...
No hard feelings, but I didn't get any help here.
Nobody even knew which type of ECU should I use as a replacement for stock ECU P73. Somebody mentioned AEM and HONDATA, which was a good start, but didn't say the trade number or the model of AEM or HONDATA ECU which I should use in my car. You must understand that Europe is far away from USA, so there should be no mistakes.
I need ECU which might be programed by expirienced tuner, and if anything else is neccessery with this computer I must have it!
Has anybody got experience with Crower and Erick's racing ?
Here are the number from my stock ECU :
37820-P73-G01
1117-102258
DENSHIGIKEN
This one is not programable as far as I know, so which ECU is programable suplement for this one?
DON'T GO OFF TOPIC!

Well you need to answer one of our questions first,
Who in your area tunes and what do they tune with?
that should be the first step you take to getting you car tuned.
If we were to recommend an ECU, and then you could not find a local tuner who knows it or works with it, you will think were are a bunch of jackasses...
as Haleiwa-Brando said: "Since there is a shop in Germany capable of tuning your car on a dyno, then my next question is:

lets start with that question.

on the button, we're really not even the people to ask anyway, if in fact you did find a good tuner he'd tell you exactly what to go with and what he could work with anyway... and like you said you're so far away and there's no way for us to know. there's just some things you have to find out about besides online, good luck with your findings and i'm not trying to sound rude what-so-ever understand that, either is Bbasso

You are pretty much going to need either a P72 or a P28 ECU, to be able to run Hondata and a few other setups. Reason is it will have to be converted to OBDI for tuning capability's.
Now your job....
1-Find all the shops that you would be willing to take your car to and get tuned.
2-Then ask each of them what products they can tune.
3-Then post up here your results from lines 1 and 2!
4-Then we will be a better help for you.

I've been to Bosnia!!! Was there for 3 months with the US Army.
There is a place in Kaiserslautern, Germany that will tune honda's, I dont know what they will tune. Let me see if I can find the name of it. Even if I do Germany is far away from Bosnia.
