Time it takes to steal a ITR with alarm

5 seconds.
I forgot the remote to turn off the car alarm in my new ITR at the shop where my steering wheel was installed.
In order to start the car the mechanic told me he would ''hot wire'' the car. I told him I had a solid alarm.
He took a long wire, opened up the hood, shoved the wire somewhere near the battery and in less than 5 seconds my car's engine came alive.
What a joke. I mean a 10 year old kid could do this if he was taught how...
I didn't know if I should of laughed or been scared!
