Time it takes to steal a ITR with alarm

5 seconds.

I forgot the remote to turn off the car alarm in my new ITR at the shop where my steering wheel was installed.

In order to start the car the mechanic told me he would ''hot wire'' the car. I told him I had a solid alarm.

He took a long wire, opened up the hood, shoved the wire somewhere near the battery and in less than 5 seconds my car's engine came alive.

What a joke. I mean a 10 year old kid could do this if he was taught how...

I didn't know if I should of laughed or been scared!

I dont know what to think of this post. Im sure you are an ITR owner but what you are saying could possibly be feeding information to people who shouldnt have it. Period.

However, I promise you. No wire splicing or switch finding will start my car. Im convinced my car is not possible to steal. Unless they brought a tow truck.

LOL

Do you think a thief is going to read my post and say ''duh, I never thought of hot-wiring a car before!''

I think this ''information'' is already well known by every prick who steals cars. Hardly any news for those guys, but as for me I was just shocked at the time it took to start my car.
