I have to put in at work for time off, but I want to go. Chances are, 9 out of 10 I will. The week of May 4th a group of MR2 owners are going down to Tennessee to run the Tail of the Dragon. If your not familiar w/ it, it an 11 mile stretch of road w/ 318 curves in it. IT'S GONNA BE FUN! Then about a month later.....the Type R Expo! The summer just can't get any better. Well, it can, but I highly doubt that Pamela Anderson's limo will be breaking down in front of my house any time soon.

Ha, mine too :)

Need to finish cage, window nets, put dash back in, reconnect and mount gauges, paint cage, mount seats... :) Not "too" bad. Trying to get a rulebook question answered with midwest NASA safety steward.

At least I have a motor and 5 out of 6 gears work in the tranny (1st gear isn't happy right now, oh well)

lol, yeah, we got some work to do. im in the process of sourcing new front and rear bumpers, lip, headlights, and new paint. its been a winter project and spring is creeping up on me kinda fast. other than the fact it was like 3 degrees the other day.......

dont worry guys, the R wasn't damaged, just i felt my 97 needed to start looking like new again.

Can we still sign up for (pay) and go to the Expo or is it completely sold out? I have not signed up yet nor have I made reservations yet. I do not know what hotel the banquet and everyone will be staying at. If anyone knows the answers to these questions, please let me know so I can get reservations made as well as paying for the Expo.

Well, you're probably the only one who is driving there via U.S. 31 (just like Kettering is probably the only one who is driving there via I-69). And it shouldn't take you more than an hour from South Bend. But yeah, I'm going. I'll probably be your instructor. :)
