I have a 97 ITR and need a stock spoiler for it. Will a 98,00,01,02 work or are they different? What are the differences? Thanks,
Peter

I dont think the ass end changed between the years except for the colors of the tail lights (which are interchangable) good luck! hope it works out for you. I like the wingless R's IMO.

They also changed the bumper...
1997:
1998:
You have to use a key to open the hatch on the 97s, but the 98+ have a button to push which opens it...added weight
I am not sure about the spoiler...check with a dealer to see if they have the same part numbers.
thnaks...

Yeah, the 97 has a different part number than the 98+ for the front chin spoiler. I do not know if a 98+ will bot on to the 97...anybody have any details, pics, diagrams, etc?

No it wont work, the 97 front bumber is two pieces with the add on, and the 98 is one piece with the add on, I believe the add on is a different shape because of that.

The big change to the front bumper between 97 and 98, other than the headlights, is that the opening was enlarged/restyled. The front lip was reworked to accordingly.

that's correct cause i own a 97 and did the conversion to 98 every thing is different. so the 98 chin won't fit on a 97 bumper. And yes the headlights are diffrent to the 97 are more round and the 98 are more of an oval shape the housing is offset forward cause when I put a 98 bumper on with the 97 ligths still on there was a space gap of around an inch.
