Sup sup; just wondering what kind of tires you guys all plan to run with at EXPO. Spill it! I was thinking about some Azenis RT615s, cheap and effective for the racer but what about for distance?

Azenis will hadnle 4-5 events and 10,000 miles of street driving. That's what I recommend for anyone who has some HPDE experience, but isn't ready for R-compounds. Until you have ~10-15 events & are VERY comfortable with your driving abilities, stay away from R-comp tires. They will mask your ineffectiveness & can cause a dangerous situation.

I'll be brining my Toyo RA-1's & Azenis. I doubt the Toyos see the track more than 1 or 2 sessions.

I completely agree!

But... If I bring the R I'll only be using the RA1s until they fall off...

well im just guna rock the yoko avs es100s that i have on my summer wheels. i think they should be fine for my first hpde.

Ill either be on 215 Azenis, 615 Azenis, or MXes.

What are your insights on the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 PP tires? OR the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires?

75% chance I'll be on Toyo RA1s

Otherwise, if I have any meat on my Hankook Z214's, I'll run those instead. They're faster anyway

FWIW, I will be selling 2 sets of Toyo RA1s 205-40-17. 1 brand new set, the other set has about 50% on them.
