Any-body else in Edmonton?

I know there are 5 or 6 ITR's in Edmonton, and I was wondering if any-one else is on this site? There's a whole TON of fakes, two are even champ white, and one is an automatic  (I won't even mention the PURPLE one  ) and I have NO interest in talking with you  !!But if there are some real ITR owners, it would be cool to hear from you.Plus we may have some body panels, glass, etc. from our 97 (R.I.P. #474) and if we sell them I'd like to keep it local to avoid all the shipping crap.

I am from Edmonton. If you want to see the real ones just take a look at 780tuners. RX_Agent, Kiew, CanadianR, and myself have real ones lol. I am thinking that there are probably around 10 in the city.

edit: Holy shit I just noticed your thread about your poor car :( . Your friend posted this on 780 awhile back. Is your nick firestarter on there? That is so sad to see that something like that could happen here. Reading that makes me seriously consider getting GPS.

We know Kiew, that's his caR in the pictures with ours before she was stolen.
Firestarter is a good friend of ours, and also president of airriders VW club.He offered to post that for us because our internet was down.
We highly recommend you get "lojack" it's the best as far as GPS goes. We're also going to get a boot (or 4) .What year is your car, we probably have seen you around.

I drive an 01 ITR. As for GPS I was gonna go to aerocarparts but I don't think they offer LoJack there. Any ideas where in the city they do? Also where in the city can you get a boot? I have been looking forever with no luck. :(

The boot would have to be ordered from the states, I've never seen them here. Not too sure where to get LoJack from either....we had just heard that it was the best AFTER our caR was stolen, so we didn't look into it any further.

I was thinking about the number of ITR's in the city, and you're probably closer.I'd forgotten about the "Tire warehouse" one, and Integra mechanical has (had?) one too, plus all of the other ones.....

When we get our new car, we'll definately be getting the boot, and other defences, so once I find out where we can get this stuff, I'll let you know

Please do get back to me when you find out where to get the stuff. We can get a group buy together and purchase 8 of those damn boots lol. As for the other ITRs I see the Tire Warehouse one all the time. Also there is another female ITR driver out there in the city with a JRSC and a 99 ITR with a top fuel body kit who works at Best Buy. Oh and I talked to Raymond only a few days ago at his shop. I'm considering the RS*R ExMag right now. By the way are you the girl that lives in Millwoods? If so I have actually seen you around before. Damn I hate that area so much lol.

No I don't live in millwoods, but I'm down there a lot because my sister and her kids live there.I hate that area too!!!! You'd probably recognize my boyfriend faster than you'd recognize me.....He's big, bald, and tatooed on his face and neck.Kinda hard to forget 8)
So I'll definately let you know about the boot when we find out.
We haven't talked to Raymond in a month or so. Last we heard, he was going to sell his ITR for a FIT  after all he went through to get that car......do you know if he sold it yet?

Oh ok that makes sence. As for Raymond he is still trying to sell it. It will be an easier sell once the nice weather rolls around. Damn so many people are selling theirs off. Anyways hate to bring this up but where abouts do you live then? Did you used to park the ITR on a street that was highly visible?

The car wasn't parked right in plain view, but all some one had to do was follow us home......it can happen to any-one, it doesn't matter where you live.Which is why I first posted that here, to remind every-one that owns an ITR that there are pieces of @#^& that steal B18C5's and whatever else they can get their hands on and try to sell it or stick it in a rice rocket. Which is also why I hate people who drive civic's and think that they're fast. So I guess you can tell I'm still a little bitter over the whole situation.

Hello.
It's felt bad and scary just to heard an Integra type R got stolen in the city.

Just to say hi to all the R's owner here.

Ray, just say no to Fit. Friends don't let friends drive economy cars!! (or Vespa's)

I've told you before that you're going to regret it ALOT if you sell your ITR.
By the way, have you seen the pictures of our cars that I took in the fall? I put some of them up in the general discussion section.I'll e-mail you some or drop them off at your work.

Will says hi, too.

Lol Raymond don't sell the car! That thing is a beauty. By the way Dawn what type of antitheft did you have on the car at the time? It seems like the poor 97s get stolen more often since they have no immoblizer. Then again those assholes will go after any year.

The alarm we had came with the car when we bought it, but like with any alarm, if they wanted to steal her bad enough it wouldn't have mattered what kind of anti theft we had on her.We didn't even hear the alarm go off, and we were home when she was stolen. That's why the boot is such a good idea, good luck rolling a car onto the back of a truck with one of those bad boys on there.

Ray if you ever decide to part with some of your mods let me know. I would be interested. Also let me know if you are gonna have a sale at your shop soon lol. Dawn you are totally right about it (alarms) not making a difference if they already scoped you out. I look forward to getting those boots. :)

Yeah, but SO worth it.They're light, easy to install and remove, cheaper than some alarms and MUCH more effective!!As soon as we get our next car, we're buying one. We'll keep in touch, Tim, (and you too, Ray) about a group buy.....(maybe we'll get a deal!!)

I want! I want! The fact that the site hasn't been updated for 3 years kind of scares me though. I never knew they were so expensive either. I'll get one for sure but definitely not 4 lol. So Dawn how soon will you be looking for a new car? Any ideas on what you want? Oh by the way, Ray I am just looking for a nice header and exhaust. I would rather get a JDM ITR header rather then the DC one now. Also how much does just the RS*R axleback go for?

We've already started looking for a new car, and we have all winter and early spring to find one, because it will only be driven in the summer anyway. We're kind of torn between another ITR or a mk IV supra (we'll have to add some of our savings but it would be worth it), but we'll see.The way the insurance company is going it'll be another couple of months before we get a settlement, anyway.

I wonder why the site for those boots hasn't been updated in so long? There were a couple of other company's that I found too.....we'll have to check them all out before we buy. :)
