I'm getting ready to purchase an exhaust system for my 98 ITR and I am leaning towards the Buddy Club Spec III. I am also looking at the Mugen twin loop and the T1R. I know the Mugen and T1R are 2.5 in. but I wasn't sure about the BC III. If anyone has these exhaust and could give me some advice I would appriciate it.

BC III, Well I have it,,, everyday I fear driving the car. It's so loud!!! Like a cop magnet.

I feel for a near stock R it's right on the money for power, About the best free flowing system that is affordable and Light... Light as hell.

If I'm not mistaken it's 2.36 inch or 60.x mm

But remember, it's loud and rattles like a tin can filled with loose nails. It's a slip fit style exhaust and uses springs to hold it together. If you don't mind any of that then go for it. But It's loud!

If you are looking for an exhuast that has a nice tone and not that loud, then loose else where. Like the Mugen or T1R.

I have heard the T1R on Edwins's car and I like it, not loud either... Maybe he'll chime in and give a review of it.

I run the T1R catback. The 2.5inch diameter is what interested me. It's a little loud but it comes with a silencer if you want to quiet it down for the street. Fitiment and quality are top notch. I've never had a problem with it at all. The Mugen TL is far more expensive and is only 60mm diameter. Many people run it as well and really like it. I'm sure the quality and fitiment are top notch as well.

BCIII = See Rob :wink:

I have the BC III as well as a Mugen TL mated to a T1R bpipe.

The BC III is loud. With the silencer, it sounds like a fart can, but can be tolerated in my car w/o an interior. This will get me to the track. If I stay off the gas, cops don't notice me.

The Mugen TL was mated to the T1R bpipe, because the Mugen bpipe resonator was crushed badly, and the Mugen bpipe is not 2.5". This set up is ideal for a daily driver. The only thing is that it is heavy. Not as heavy as stock, but all that muffler piping does weight a bit.

BTW, the BC III bpipe almost feels like aluminum foil because it is so thin and light. The T1R bpipe is much beefier and can probably be used as an ugly stick.
