headghasket ?

I know a thicker headgasket (.060 double than stock)means theres more of a chance that it can blow but i would be safe with 8 psi wouldnt I???? I have a JDM type r so my compression is 11.1 and i need to get it down around 10.2-10.3 if im going to boost safely.
