A few weeks ago I bought a '98 Supercharged ITR and I am the epitome of newbie when it comes to all vehicles in general and I was just wondering if anyone knows the specs for horsepower, torque, and acceleration (0-60) with a supercharger. I am just curious, for personal use.

btw: its a Jackson Racing Eaton Supercharger

All the dyno numbers are posted on Jackson's website. Try there :)

But i thought Type R's were like 195 horsepower stock, so does that mean there was only like a 14 hp increase? that seems kinda weak.... eh oh well

Any horsepower numbers you see of a dyno graph are to the wheels, where the stock 195 is a flywheels rating, it's not wheel horsepower, to the wheels a stock ITR ussualy puts in the high 150's, so a 60whp gain is pretty damn good.

I have a Supercharger in my ITR with the folowing mods:

Apexi N1 Exhaust
JDM Type R Header
High Flow Cat (dunno the name)
AEM CAI
Apexi V-AFC

I pulled a 218 whp on a dyno in the beginning of the year. Keep in mind that I haven't tuned my car yet. I'm planning on tuning my car sometime and want to see what would happen :) .

Reason I got a supercharger is because I live in Cali. and I dont want to bother with the hassle of smog inspections :o .

Dude, don't worry about specs. Take that biaaatch to the track and see what it can do.

take it to the track, and see how much better you're running, then while you were stock. and then practice driving better (we all should!)
