When I shift gears at a high RPM and quickly my car seems to shake (it's pretty violent) and then it dies down and everything is fine again. Does anyone have any idea what this is and/or how to fix it? This doesn't happen any other time but when I'm aggressively driving My specs:

Spoon Dampers
Spoon Springs
DC Sports JDM Type-R Header
Apex-i Performance Power Intake
Spoon Lower Arm Bar

Thanks

Need some more info on this...

do you have enough oil?
when was the car last mantainced?
can you move your motor by hand when the car is off and cool? If so how much?
Can you tell if it's a motor or tranny problem?
are you wheels on correctly, TQed down, and proper size tires w/ air PSI?
As you can tell, I am having a hard time with a starting point. If you could be more percise that would help a bunch.

I have just recently bought this car but I'll try and answer as much as I can. The oil level is fine and it passed the Honda inspection (and compression testing) with flying colors. My wheels are torqued down correctly, and this shaking, or heavy rattling has continued from when I had my winter tires on (gunmetal stocks) to my summer tires (white JDM Type-R wheels). I can check tonight to see if there is some play in the motor mounts.

It's such an odd feeling because the car is so smooth otherwise, it just happens when I'm shifting in the 8300 rpm range.

Check the cap and rotor, or since it's cheap enough- change it. Any CEL?

Ok so after doing some driving tonight it only happens in the lower gears, a bit off launch, and from 1st to 2nd pretty badly, 3rd isn't very bad. If that helps at all.

Check the distributor cap and rotor and stop driving it until you find the problem.
