Tranny oil fill

Does anyone know where the fill area is on the tranny thanks.

Its on the right side of the transmission just above and to the rear of the right side inner CV joint. It is a 17mm bolt sticking out of the trans sideways. Fill it until it runs out and then put in the plug.

You do things the hard way....

If you look on the top of the transmission on an ITR, you should see a rubber cap that almost looks like a small baseball cap, if you pull that off, you'll notice that it's a tranny breather, which you can also fill the tranny from. This way, you don't need to rig some sort of device to get oil into that hole above the axles which points sideways, I found that the smallest funnel discount auto sells, which I think is lime green, just barely fits over the breather stem, so this way, you can just fill it from the top, the whole thing is almost easier than changing your oil.

Just remember, that you need to have that top hole on the side of the tranny open, this way when it gets full, it'll just spill out, at that point, put the plug back in, and the cap back on the breather, and you're done.

Good Luck, and remember, if you use 10W30 to also use a limited slip additive.
