So I have two Q's

1.does anyone have someone they trust to buy to a used JDM swap from?
2.The only shop near me wants $800 for labor to do the swap, I live in nashville, TN is anyone who would be willing to help me out that can do an install, I would be willing to pay. please let me know

Thanks,
Cory

Two things that pop into my head, Do you have the extended warranty?
and if not then strongly consider P1Auto.com / Jack as a shop that can help you. He's about 430miles / 6:45 hours from you.

The intake valve springs were very loose and see where they beat the crap of the surounding walls.

I would have rebuilt the stock one...
and saved a few bucks while still keeping the vins the same.

but there is a big hole in the block, and the bottom of the head looks like a grenade went off.

I would have to buy a new block and head. The only thins that are good are the crankshaft and the cams. I looked in to doing a rebuild and it was like $3600-$4000. plus this way I am getting an extra trans.

I did not know your old block was beyond repair.

Good luck...

Oh and having a spare trans = good thing!

I called acura and there price was $5224 for the block and head. But he said it did not come together, he said you had to put the motor together your self. and that would mean even more money for labor for someone to do for me. thats why I did not go that rout.
I thought what he said was stranged but I did'nt have the time.

10002-P73-A03 GENERAL ASSY., CYLINDER BLOCK 1 2000 INTEGRA 2986.57 2389.26

10003-P73-305 GENERAL, CYL HD 1 2000 INTEGRA 1945.63 1556.50

I could build an engine for cheaper than what you paid for that motor. Only thing you would not get would be the trans, but you would have a brand new motor with slightly higher compression.

You might ask Chris is he can help you out. He's in Johnson City.
He rebuilt my head and it runs great. I wouldn't go to anyone in TN other than Chris or Trey for ITR help. You could always look into going to Atlanta for help. Good Luck!!! Chris= "aquafina"
