my motor 2001 just had a rod go threw the block( I feel your pain) mine only had 59k I am buying a used JDM motor from a importer. so you can buy new from Acura, rebuld ,or buy used. There all $$$

Are you sure it's a ring?
I lost compression and it was just a broken valve, no other damage.
Maybe you will get lucky like I did.

But if you are DIY kinda guy then it might be worth it to fix it yourself.
