Road Atlanta this past weekend!

RA was awesome this past weekend. Thanks to all for your help with brake pads and suspension. I ended up getting the Hawk Blues, which were pretty damn good. I never put on the r compounds because 1) it was below freezing in the am, and 2) new (slick) asphalt.
There were a few Type R's out there, including one RHD in my group.
Besides almost creaming a bmw and a mustang cobra (on separate occasions) who were both BRAKING coming down the hill into 12, (I wasn't going to lift or brake) the event was pretty relaxed for me.
The highlight, or lowlight, of the weekend was a Viper that spun out coming off 11 and nailed the inside wall. The driver was ok, his shoulders hurt from the harnesses. This guy and his friend are notorious for their aggressive driving and playing with each other on the track, and it finally caught up to them.
EDIT: The new asphalt is awesome; however, a lot of my reference points were either moved or gone completely. So if anyone plans on going out there, check the track out before hauling ass. Turn five seems to have more room to let the car power out, and no more concrete patches!
Here's a pic of me in turn 6. I'll post more as i get them.
