Some people say that it starts working at eighty mph.
I think it was Will who said without the wing on long trips it will increase two or three mpg. But do as you please its your car.

Mine stays on.

they look ugly when removed and make the back end of the car unstable on track

i know this because a friend of mine today said "lets take the spoiler off and see what happens"

apparently it was tragic

I've heard this too. My advice is to keep it on, or replace it with another functional wing, say Mugen Gen 1 or 2. ITRs are notorious for lift throttle oversteer....the cause of a lot of higher speed wrecks and several deaths. Taking off the wing will only increase the likely-hood of such loss of control. Just my $.02

thanks guys. not sure yet yeah i heard from some people it is " a quick way to kill yourself" that its not a good idea, just didnt imagine it being that functional. time will tell

what does this have to do with tuning?

I say keep it on..it's part of the character and design of the car.

I cannot remember where I read it, but I remember these numbers for a stock ITR wing. The reduce Coefficient of drag by 1% and coefficient of lift by 30%. I will try to find the article again.

Edit... Oh snap I remember where I saw it... Best Motoring Video - Type R Legend. I will have to watch it again and get the numbers.
