This is Dave driving his newly acquired 2000 ITR out of my driveway to start his trip home.
I'll have a few more pictures later in the day.

Nice! I've been hearing he has one of every color now? CW, PY, NHBP, and FBP? I wish Vogue Metallic Silver and Milano Red ITRs came to our shores...

All....
Just got home, it's a little after midnight on Saturday or Sunday, depends how you want to look at it.
Impressions...
Bald 215's + Rain = heart attack
This car consumes more oilcohol than a bloody irishman.
Sussy needs to be worked a bit.
Stupid shit needs to be removed.
Determine where oil is going... 5 qts in the whole trip... basically every time I filled up.
I love the car though, and new a car with this mileage was going to need some serious TLC to get it where I want it. The SRD's are rather comfy for longer trips, just wish I could recline them. Mugen shift knob sucks, not very comfy at all.
I had her up to 110 at one point, but backed off in fear of damage on the way home. I'm going to get the car up to the shop tomorrow and see what's in store. Definite detail + whatever else.
Thanks to all that lent a place to chill.

Yeah, I'd say I'm happy. Happy to be home!!!
She's got some work ahead of her soon, maybe I'll just buy another short block, throw it in, and then work the original block or something...

Oh mang, sorry to hear.
If you could afford, get a Spoon complete motor.
Spoon Catalog
That would leave you with a complete spare motor ( after re-build-it yourself) for your FLEET 0' ARRRHHS.
Spoon Catalog .pdf has noice pics of engine bays.

wonder what kind of power a spoon motor makes?

It's nothing ridiculous... some dude had one on JDMU and I think he was putting down like 190whp or something.... however you could drive it coast to coast at 9k though.

I've never noticed the A/C lines being like that on a RHD R before. wierd.

Yeah, basically blueprinted to a higher degree than Honda with a 9k redline. Has other bits to work with a higher revving motor.

No spoom motors for me guys. Probably order a short block from Len for now. That would give me a spare, but no head.
OR....
I buy a used engine somewhere, rebuild and go from there.

Yes, after Erik posted I could, I figured it out. I looked and looked and tried on the "correct" side, not the inner side. LOL

Queens, Whitestone Bridge, Bronx, Greenwich CT, Harlem, Midtown Manhattan including the FDR, WestSide Hiway, Madison Square Garden, Park Ave, East River, Hudson River, 42nd Street, Times Square, Broadway, WTC site, Battery Place, Brooklyn Bridge, Governors Island, Liberty Island- Statue of Liberty, BQE, Redhook, Verrazano Bridge, Staten Island, BayRidge, Coney Island, Bensonhurst, Midwood, Gravesend. I'm sure I missed a few spots, but that is the bulk of it.
