The background: I wish I had pictures to cover the carnage

So last Saturday I picked up my new stand for my turntables from my favorite record store in Seattle. I had to bring it home in the R becuase the Bronco is in the shop. I get home and I am unloading the table when I accidentally hit the e-brake handle pretty hard and my baby started its decent down my driveway and uncontrollably into my garage. I scrapped my car down the entire passenger side door and I pulled the e-brake up just in time to save the passenger side mirror.

The scratch was horrific, but it wasn't deep so I took it to a high end detail shop for buffing, emulsifying, spot painting, reduce and a back out. The bill came to 915 dollars. They made my disaster a miracle even before it went to paint but..... They backed into a pole getting it into the paint booth!!!! =0(. They have to replace the bumper and the panel directly above the bumper.

I figured I would give them the chance to fix it before I do anything.... but I don't really know what to do.

Like you said I'd just wait and see what they plan to do about it. They should take care of it without any hassle. Just make sure that they get all OEM parts cause you know how some of that aftermarket stuff can fit.

Sorry to hear about the car, but at least it didn't turn out alot worse.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that!

They should definately pay for the repairs no problem. I know that when damage happens at my shop, it's dealt with asap, and we deal only with the dealerships when it comes to repairing the vehicle.

My only suggestion is that you request that Acura does the repair. That way you know it's done right, with OEM parts.

I hope you get it all figured out soon!

Geez mang, just when you thought the worst was over. :?

Definitely make sure parts are NEW OEM, and not junkyard specials.
