Well its time to get rid of some stuff i've been holding on to god knows why one of those items is a my 1997 type r tranny that will need a rebuild it only had 70000km's when i pulled it out then i went with a gs-r tranny along with my turbo set-up. Was gonna rebuild it but then I crashed my car and i can post pictures of certain parts along with the cluster to prove the milage which at the time was 82903km's which was on the gsr tranny. So this thing is sitting 1st thing I had the tranny opened up to inspect it and see how bad it was for anyone expressing serious interest I can take photos's of the whole thing it's wrapped up and stored away so don't waste my time if you not interested. The Vin tag is not there due to rivets shearing off I can provide my vin number with ownership to the buyer

What was the reason it was pulled? Obviously something wrong, but more specifically? A grind? Wouldn't go into a specific gear?

thanks,

It went in to gears but when accelaerating hard and trying to put in second it was grinding really bad, it still went in but i would have a harder time doing it if i was giving it, now in regular driving it went into gear normally with an ocassional grind. Never poped out of gears so no problems there. Like i said i was gonna have it rebuilt by a local guy but that year i turbocharged my r and wanted longer ratios so i picked up a gs-r tranny for same money a rebuild would cost because then i would have all syncros replaced.

How much is the shipping cost from where your at to say los angeles California? Thanks also around how much would the re-build cost be? Im really interested I have the money and I need shorter gears so a itr tranny would do great.
