Strange Noise when Starting the Car...

When I crank my car up, it has a slight tick or rattle in the motor for about three seconds. I know Hondas kind of sound a little noisy from the valves but I feel like I may have a problem. Any insight would be helpful.

Ive got the same ticking.....its honditis as far as Im concerned....but you are making me nervous now

Well that is the noise my car started to make BEFORE it almost spun a bearing!!!!!!!!

same problem with mine after washing!! Ive had thisj ust one time... gave him some peniciline, now it works

try changing your tranny fluid.......I have no idea what it could be, other than maybe a throwout bearing. Some times after they get old they start making noises when they're cold?????
