Anyone in the Florida Panhandle?

Ok guys, Im still kinda new on this site, and I was just wondering how many of us are in the Florida panhandle area, like Pensacola/Destin/Panama City. I live in Crestview FL (between Pensacola and Panama City) and have never seen another Type R in my life. I tend to feel lonely sometimes, so I'd appreciate anyone responding who lives in the area.

Wait... another Floridian???

No ITR's up there, but Kapman (Mike) is up there. We are planning an FL ITR meet/track day at GIR (Gainsville) if you'd like to join us.

Awesome... now we have ITR's from Homestead (almost last part of FL) to the Panhandle!!!

On a side note, I have taken my R up there. :) Closed a bar at 9:30... wusses when it's not in season up there.

Not sure... with times the way they are right now, it's sorta difficult.

however, a meet in general may be in order soon. Trying to find a location might be difficult as you are from SFL, and these guys are way up in the corner. Maybe in the Ocala area might be halfway.

Thoughts guys?

Here is another very feasable option.

New "track" in Orlando.

http://www.cfroadcourse.com

Talked to Sr. Shop is willing to fork out 1k towards a days rental if we can get enough other folks to join in.

Yes we could. After going this weekend, it looks to be more of a really long autocross course. Most folks aren't even getting into 3rd gear (depends on FD I suppose)

Sounds very interesting...

I think a good place for a meet.

Hell, my girlfriend would probably come with me...

A short course may be perfect for any Teg.

I guess I am spoiled since I only ran at longer tracks..

Still planning on going to Barber at end of march..

BTW; the Teg is out of shop! WOOT!

The synchros sleeves for 1st and 5th were chewed up. I had all synchros replaced and both sleeves replaced. I guess the honda bond
just gave out, so hence the leak. It is all good now. Also had tie rods replaced, timing belt tightened...and new clutch puck replaced!

Then added a GSR shift linkage to boot..

I am going to put on the Samco radiator hoses this weekend..

CFRcourse is great for karts, they even do kart rentals and they have an 1/8th mile drag strip. the little road course is great for integras, just that there isnt much passing room so i wouldnt want to risk a pass on any turn because probablities of bumping and rubbing are big lol. but we can all rent the karts and then just go balls out lol. MARIO KART FTW!!! lol
