i'm thinking about getting toda b cams. at this point, i only have bolt on parts with the exception of exhaust. my question is that if i stay with these mods and add the toda cams and tune them with cam gears will i still pass the sniffer test. keep in mind that i live in cali.
any info would be appreciated

Sure the can. You will need a fuel management system to lean out the fuel but they will pass.

Wont leaning out the fuel be dangerous? My friend he has an ITR with Toda Bs, he has to take out the cams everytime he goes for the smog test(Air Care in BC Canada)

It woudl need to be done with a wideband so you knwo your fuel ratio serttings but during the tuning session if you tune for power then tune for it to be a bit leaner and record all your settings you should be fine.
We had a freind with a Turbo'd Civic with a gutted cat lean his power FC out and pass emissions.
But yes it can be dangerous so know what you are doing.

Bs will pass if you know what you're doing tuning-wise. I know of a guy that passed smog with Cs. His numbers were well below the upper limit needed to pass.
