Has anyone every noticed dimples on the top part of their front fenders? It is right next to the seem where it meets with the hood. My friend has a 1997 Integra and has experinced the same thing. Is this a common occurence? It is only on the driver side at this point. Any response will be apprectiated. Its for an R that Im purchasing this week.

Dimples? Can you provide pics?

I've seen where folks try to help lift the car up (for say getting it onto a lift) from the fenders and it causing what your describing. But other than that, there should be no reason they just "form"

I had the same issue on my old py 00'

I think its from original owners leaning/sitting on the front fender since its about butt height.
probably from pushing to hard as well during wash/wax procedures.

Just have it fixed, I know how annoying it is seeing the waves/dimples on the fender.

its a honda thing. Usally on cars that have been lowered. It happends on the rear quarter panels too, from the stress of it being lowered.

I've never seen, nor heard of this... and I've owned a TON of Honda's.

IMO, it's from a lowered car, that some idiot decided in order to get the car up on a jack/lift to lift up on the fender wells causing the dimples and dents... when you should just drive the car up on a couple of 2x4's to get a jack/lift under the jacking points...

I've never seen or heard of it "just happening over time"

Living in LA there are tons of driveways that i HAVE to go up at an angle..that right there is enough to do it. Ive seen it on a million Honda's myself. I know its from a lowered car and the added pressure. And sure if u look at some carefully, because u cant really see them (in some cars) you'll find what this guy and I are talking about.

You didnt know what he was talkign about in the 1st post, I knew as soon as I read the topic what he was talking about.

mine's lowered and on stiff springs... driven in NYC, track and many miles on street. I've yet to see a dimple on mine, besides I too have never heard of this before.
Dimples on top of my fenders are from people leaning and such, myself included

they are really really tiny. Like the size of a nickel or so and they usally show up the same space apart from each other. Same with the rear quarter panel (which I know no one leans on that).
