A detachable steering wheel.
Now i know that it wont always stop a thief.
But anyway...
which is the best for my buck.

A detachable wheel is great "extra step" in a layered security system. I cant tell by your post if you want this to be your primary theft deterrent or not but it is great in combo with other security measures already in place.

As a theft deterent only, I would not get one. A good pair of locking vice grips can defeat just the column.

Ya i ruled this out because it removes the airbag.
I am taking getting a clifford alarm installed as soon as i get the car.
