Er'yup... got laid off on Monday.

AND!!! It was my day off, they had to call me... WTF???

So yeah... WTDR is definitely out.

Parts right now are definitely out.

To add insult to injury... Angela was also laid off on the same day. Oh what fun.

So, if any of you (especially in the NC area) hear of IT related jobs, please keep me informed!

Me = no programming, and very little DBA stuff. More network admin/engineer. Always could do desktop support again. Anything really.

I know one of the big IT directors for Wachovia up in CLT so the posibility is very real. That and the whole Research Triangle thing too. I'm sure there are plenty of jobs up there, and in my search for a new one, I'm sending them my resume.

We have a DBA position open in my department, but we have people with certs and 15+ years experience applying - entry level position

Sucks to hear man, they've been laying off employees at The Hartford too, I'd recommend something to you but they've frozen all outside hiring, they're keeping everything available for those they lay off. I'm just now reaching my 1 year mark in my current job and I was hoping to move up and out of it.
