Is the vibration there until about 60-65mph, then going away, or is the vibration disappear at lower speeds?

Re: Referral to a good shop in the Annapolis, MD area needed
TSR is closed. There had been some issues between the owner and father. Sweeny opened a new shop called Charm City, but still primarily focus' on turbo cars. I would recommend Steve at importsports. Never hear anything about stuff going missing from his clientel. He knows his stuff and is a good guy.

Re: Soooo. What do I need to know becoming an ITR owner?
Your memory is excellent as well. I know Gary, as his shop is not far from my house at all. I can recall on a few occasions seeing you on the opposite side of the road near Bojangles. If you had ever seen a PY R around there, it was mine. I definately want to get another one, but like I said, the st...

I'm a finance manager there. I remember destinctly the bronze wedsports. Tall, blonde hair and from NY originally. If I remember correctly you were in the showroom with a friend talking about the Mugen Si(Tommys car) and the CR we had on the one side of the showroom at the time.

From someone who has met you at Honda, and owned an R, be preparred. People will follow you around here. I sold my car because of a lack of a garage. I was not going to sit by and watch my car(stock and clean) suffer a demise of others I have seen(4 in total). I owned it for a year, and didnt sleep ...

Re: reputable paint in tampa
I can't help on the paint shop, although I am pretty sure Dave is from the area originally. As for the whay the Pheonix Yellow is laid, it is definately a single stage, and one of the main reasons it is so prone to fade. If you have any questions about that, bbasso is the man for that.

Re: Turbo or Superchargers
If I were entertaining boost, I would go with a Full Race turbo kit. Quality is second to none (helped a buddy put one in his hatch). The guys have made great statements. Boost equals heat. It is the biproduct of compressing air. There will be supplementals required to make things run well (rad, fan...

Re: F.S 2001 PY R #41, Stock NC
I know it's a short time frame to sell, and it's too bad. I had the price originally at 11,500 when I listed it then lowered to 11k... I just edited the price out of the title this morning. I saw a ton of veiws, but no interest... no comments even. I at least expected some positive feedback if nothi...

No interest here, will look other routes for sale. I figured the community was the best route to make sure a stock, non theft, non salvage title R, was sold and well respected. Looks like it will be sold to a local college kid. I was really trying to avoid this.

Re: F.S 2001 PY R #41, Stock $11,500-NC
Offers?? Anyone?? Price is negotiable. My main concern is that my time frame to sell my R is not a long one, and I am truly desperate to not have to put it on Ebay. I would hate for someone to Hack her and tear her apart. She's SO clean, and runs so great.. I was really hoping to be able to keep it ...

F.S 2001 PY R #41, Stock NC
As title says, looking at selling my 2001 Pheonix Yellow Type R, #41. Originally from west coast(Washington State). She has 130,712 miles on her. The only mods consist of a Comptech rear section, and 6000K HID's, for better night vision. If buyer prefers factory muffler, I can do that too. I am a Ho...

Minty, Glad to hear we could all help in securing your loan. Banks can be difficult, especially on limited production cars. They work mostly on NADA, KBB and Edmunds. Basically, published info. When you talk about less than 4000 production units, it makes those numbers distorted, because they are ba...

We, as owners of these caRs, have a special interest in whats out there and how they are treated. We are all owners of limited production caRs, and the fate of others can adversl...

Re: HID flicker help
You need a power harness, that has a relay, and will attach to the battery terminal. The issue you are running into is that factory lights run on 55watts, and the HID's run 35watts after the balast. The balast needs a constant signal, otherwise it will flicker, or only one will turn on and the other...

Re: HOW MUCH!!!
Minty, Without sounding like a smart ass, the information you seek is located between your own ears. I sell cars for a living, and know that what a car is worth, is what someone is willing to pay for it. Considering the vehicle you are looking for, paying a premium should not be an issue. The discus...
