i have heard about the gps alarms go for 750-850 w/out installation. the GPS helps much more than other alarms especially if the thief is an expert or has a tow truck. supposedly if a car with GPS leaves a certain radius of where it was initially alarmed a call will be put into your cell phone...etc...

Wierd noise?

while driving the R today i noticed a very quiet whistling type noise coming from the front end while accelerating slowly at 3500-5000rpms, then it goes away. unless one is really listening to the car it is not noticable to the ear. perhaps there is a post on the site already adresseing the problem....

just thinking about getting these rims is black for my R. they are a steal on ebay at around $400 with tires. it kinda seems too good to be true.

mine has 124xx miles on it and is a 2001. i would suspect that there is less than 100 type r's with under 15000mi in the USA

someone told me that it is possible to take ECU out as safety measure. would this mess things up? could it be possible with proper knowledge? and how much might this cost?

oh yeah...pm me with any creative ideas for hiding kill switches (friends cw itr stolen w/kill switch being found)
