New midwest region-er..
hey Midwest people! I just moved back to St. Louis a couple weeks ago from Maryland and had a couple questions.. I am a member of NASA-VA and am trying to do more HPDE's, but out here now. Any reccomendations on tracks or events in this area this summer to try and make? Also, my roll cage was about ...

accessory pulleys really aren't necessary IMO.. but can remove SOME parasitic drag.. unless you don't have power steering or a/c anyhow.. crank pulley is a different story.. a lot of people have gone to using the CTR pulley.. I have heard that the Unorthodox is a copy of it, but can't confirm that p...

Re: Hydraulic Jack
drive your car onto blocks of wood, then jack it up.. That technique only helps if the minimum lifting height is not low enough, and does not affect the maximum lifting height. the guy said his car was too low for a specific jack.. i gave him a suggestion that allows him to pick out any jack.. :)

I personally really like the Toyos- they aren't the only tires I've run by any means! The reference to SVWC cars was in regards to the wheel/tire size set up I chose. I honestly like them- I'm not saying theres nothing better out there. Different people are going to have different preferences based...

This summer i'm looking to take mine to the montana region and maybe max the hell outta mine, keep it at redline for a good while and see what she can do  why maintain that speed? just asking for trouble IMO, especially in a stock car.. also, isn't it fairly safe to say that the speedo is prob...

Re: Expo related: VA and radar detectors
I remember hearing there are illegal in VA. Any truth to this? Thanks. Matt- who can't wait for the expo even if he has to drive near the speed limit while there  Radar detectors are not allowed in the Dominion. I don't think they're confiscated on sight anymore, but it's a whopping extra tic...
