Did the dealer, or salesperson actually admit the car was wrecked? If so, is the title a "salvage" title or was the damage done small so the car would not be considered "totaled?" I beleive a "salvage" title is only for cars that have been totaled or water damaged, etc....

Just a thought but, if the car has gone through 4 owners AND a lease, does that mean there were actually 5 owners? Could the car have gone through a couple of auctions and that is how this dealer got it? I would ask the dealer where he obtained the car and if it would be OK to call the previous owne...

Thanks for your input Dave, I have a couple of more months on the lease and will try to figure out what to do. I am going to a Honda dealer tomorrow to take my wife's CRV in for a service call and will look hard at the S2000.
