It has been lightly massaged under the hood. I've got a Mugen intake, JDM 4-1 header, Spoon plug wires, Vision Carbon plug cover, Spoon reseviour socks, Spoon oil cap, Spoon radiator cap, and a Braille auto 11.5 lbs battery. When I bought the car it was fairly dirty under the hood, lots of yellow ru...

97 ITR -296 is saying Hello
Been on the board for a while now, never posted any info on my R. Purchased the car in October of 2005, from the original owner, completely bone stock. It had a baby seat in the back when I test drove it. Since then I have done a few tasteful upgrades. I have always wanted a Spoon ITR. This summer I...

Are you sure that the valves are adjusted properly? I was throwing a P0172 which is the same as a code 45. Once I adjusted the valves properly,it went away. Trying taking your secondary 02 sensor from the cat and switching it with your Primary 02 sensor. It saves you from buying a new one from the d...

Congradulations to a fellow Canuck on the pick up! I have a 97 ITR myself. If I was you I highly suggest that you leave the R stock, untill you can afford a decent suspension upgrade. Switching LCA's and such too acheive a lower stance isn't worth the hassle. You are in a different league with the R...

There are several differences between the 95-97 JDM ITR's and the 98-01 JDM ITR's: Drive Train: 95-97 B18C's have the cylinder head ports buffed by hand. compression ratio of 11:1 are the same between both generations. Engine was equipped with a 2 piece exhaust manifold,in a 4-2-1 configuration. The...

Thanks Guys, I can't wait for the good weather to roll around. I have many other spoon parts as well from last season, so this solidifies my ITR as Spoon Fed. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u186/9dee7_itr/aircleaner.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u186/9dee7_itr/Wires.jpg http://i168.phot...

Possible Primary 02 sensor problem
I've been running a JDM 4-1 header with a highflow cat and stock exhaust for the last month. The only other mod I have is a Mugen intake. I'm also using the stock ECU. Yesterday when I was driving my car started going crazy, idle was bogging occasionally, when it was ideling it was quite low, car sh...

Weight of Air conditioning Unit?
Was thinking of removing my A/C, wanted to know how much robbed horsepower I would be gaining back, also how much weight it would shed off my front end.
I live in Canada, so I don't use my A/C at All.
Thanks

CTR Pistons
I've just picked up a set of brand new oem CTR pistons for my 97 ITR. In order to have a successful, reliable transfer into my motor, what else would I require? Do I need different connecting rods? Can I leave the head stock, or will that have to be upgraded. From what I understand some slight honin...

Spoon Sports Air filter
I just picked up my 97 ITR today, and I'm looking for a good intake system, I really don't want a cold air setup because of the risk of water ingestion, and a short ram is just stupid because the intake is bringing in hot engine bay air. Have any ITR owners on this forum used the Spoon Sports Drop i...

Best Anti-theft Device?
What is the Best Anti-theft device? I'm thinking about the power-lock anti theft device, does anyone have this system, or could recommend something that has worked for them. I would hate for my new ITR to get taxed.
