Integra Type-R Discussion - Discuss general ITR information, technical information (including requests for technical/mechanical help/assistance), modifications, tuning, etc.
Unfortunately as a university student I need to drive my R in the winter time to school
I was wondering if anyone has any tips or preparations I can make for the winter to keep my car well maintained and minimize the amount of damage it will take from the cold Canadian winters. Thanks in advance!
Here's a good resource on winter tires. I have the Dunlop Graspics myself and am happy with them. Several other great tires listed there too. Check out the tire tests.
Not sure what Walmart can get.
I would also recommend getting mud guards as well if you live in a snowy climate where they might throw down sand or gravel. It really helps alot with protecting the under carriage and keep the interior noise down.

Definitely! And helps keep the sandblasting from occuring alll down the side of the caR. Don't want your doors to match your front lip after some 'spirited' driving!

No they don't put any sand or gravel down here, its only salt I have to worry about, and lots of it
