Good to know. I'll see what I can come up with, if they're still available in a few weeks it may be easier for me to pick them up then. I definitely need an extra set of wheels for the track, however any extra cash is going to be tough to get approved from the boss right off the bat. I think it might be more intelligent of me to invest in a solid alarm install

Are the photos with the Kosei wheels the same car? Looks like you had the spoiler off and had some red JDM seats?

Lucky guy. The day will come when I get mine. :D If this was within driving distance of me it might have happened. Too much trouble to fly out there just to look at it.

When it comes from highly respected members in the community you don't need to look at it, you just get it.

Shit, civicbeater is in the same state and still bought it sight unseen.

Dude, that's the beauty of a Honda. Just buy it, drive it, drive it some more.

This is my 4th car that I've purchased sight unseen.

Typically if the seller can form a complete sentence he has some brains on how to upkeep a car. I can't tell you how many "nice" cars I steer away from just because the seller has the grammatical skills of a 13 year old. Forums are also great as you can really get sense of the sellers reputation etc. Nothing like word of mouth as what pretty much sold this car to me.

Hopefully this will be another successful purchase on a clean caR.

p.s. Can anyone explain what the 4.9 final drive does for this car? I was going to ask Jack on Sunday but curiosity has gotten the best of me. :) Lower or raise the rpm while cruising on the hwy? I think i've read that it may lower your top speed by a few mph? I think it's definitely a sweet mod that i'll enjoy on the track, not sure if it will make it more of a pita on the hwy or not.

Well I guess I found this which explains it well:

Still probably a stupid question, So will the RPM's be lower or higher in 5th cruising down the hwy with the 4.9?

4.9 FD mod is hands down my favorite mod on these cars.

you'll rev higher as compared to a stock 4.4

use the calculator on the mfactory site if you want a better idea of the difference

Hard for me to see the difference on that. Say 70mph 5th gear. What roughly would be the difference in RPM's?

IIRC it was a 500 RPM difference vs. stock FD.

In some MPH ranges, it actually increased fuel economy too, believe it or not...
