Re: '97 ITR #305 Shell GOTTA GO!
LOL, I guess I can clarify some of this.
His shell is about as complete as they come. Just drop in a swap, and IIRC seats and go. The car is not a theft recover, however it was a turbo car and the seller who sold to him wanted to keep the swap for whatever reason. Car has original cluster still in the car, the harnesses are not cut. I was actually going to work this into the trade for my car, however I need money more than another project right now.
IMO, I think 5k is not a bad deal at all, put a swap (3k) and seats (600) and you have a complete 97 for around $8600 which, for the title and all things seems just about right (look at What Larkin sold his for)
Tom, I'll work on getting those pictures you sent me as well as history on previous owner (Joe can I'm sure did that up, he did for me when I was looking to trade)

I'm not far from Mt. Pleasant so I have to ask if anyone in here knows-
is the 2000+ faster steering rack a straight swap into the 97/98? Any other parts needed? How about A/C?
I'm in love with Champ. White, but need the A/C and faster ratio, advice?

Prob not, but interested in a 93 40+ mpg civic si? I think everyone here can agree that its pretty clean. Def a clean title.
Re: '97 ITR #305 Shell GOTTA GO!
Cage is NOT going to be SCCA legal, was built as a drag race car cage. Needs a horizontal at least.

If I had somewhere to put it I'd probably take it o be honest. 5k is a pretty solid deal for that 97

Re: '97 ITR #305 Shell GOTTA GO!
Guys, I'd LOVE to make this done, pick it up and have it in my garage, part the whole thing down to a bare shell, put it on a rotisserie (sp) and start from scratch. But I need the funds more than another project.

LOL, so the wife asked me about this car last night and what it would take to make it road worthy and how much I could sell my hatch for.

Re: '97 ITR #305 Shell GOTTA GO!
Whats the rush of making it road legal? Spend 20 years and build it right, it's the 97 project that you wanted thrown on a silver platter since he's trying to trade for ol' yeller. I don't think you're going to get a better scenario than this davis.
