LOL
So, I wonder if Geoff can get us some BrewDog and ship it over... Found one reasonably priced that he could ship over. Heavy stout at 18.2% ABV. $27 pounds.

Re: All about... BEER!!!
Tried this tonight at dinner with Steez and Civicbeater. It was ok. Tasted more like a barleywine than much of anything else to me.
Triangle Belgian-Style Strong Golden Ale
This strong golden ale measures in at 8% & showcases a variety of the ingredients and brewing methods that help differentiate Triangle beers. The Strong Golden is fermented at a higher temperature than our other beers adding an undercurrent of fruitiness (although there is no fruit in the beer). Very lightly filtered, the Golden exhibits complex mouthfeel, strong malt flavors, a spicy hop presence and soothing alcohol warmth, followed by a clean, dry finish. It is excellent with food as well as served by itself. Bronze Medal Winner at 2009 Carolina Championship of Beer.
Food pairings: Richer dishes, meats, cheeses, stews, smoked foods. As an after-dinner drink.

Re: All about... BEER!!!
Interesting Erik... is it a Belgian then? As in, the unfiltered wheat after taste?

Re: All about... BEER!!!
I finally tried Blue Moon. The Belgian-Style Wheat ale is a surprisingly smooth beer. As a matter of fact, one of the smoothest I've ever had. It's on the mild side when it comes to hops. I like my beer slightly hoppity, but Blue Moon's smooth texture makes up for what it lacked. I give it 1/2 out of five. Check out their website. It's pretty nifty.

Pretty nasty... LOL
Was the only beer left in the fridge and was too lazy to go get anything.
I do know that Shipyard Pumpkinhead is coming soon... planning on hitting up a place that sells that in flats.

Re: All about... BEER!!!
Drunk me sum Fireman's #4, a blond ale from Real Ale and was quite good, had with foie & chicken liver pate, smoked brisket & pork, blue cheese cole slaw, cheese grits & hominy casserole and finished off with a Drunken Tart made with pecans, gorgonzola cheese & bourbon sour cherries. *heaven *
For Erik: Real Ale Brewing company's IPA is called Lost Gold and is a good one for all yoose hopheads. This Blanco TX brewery only does dry hopping.
