What kind of 0-60 times are you guys getting?

Post by integra891 »

Hey,
I was just curious to know what kind of 0-60 times you guys are getting with your stock and modded type R's. If you got mods, could you list them please. Thanks for all the help.

I've never done a 0-60 time on my car.

You might get more answers if you ask for quarter-mile times, assuming you can relate these times to what you want.

When it was in its 184 HP configuration, my ITR did a 13.8 quarter. I am going to guess that a 0-60 for this low torque configuration would be something like 5.7 seconds.

I have not driven a quarter with it in the 192 HP configuration.

Most people don't have the capability to accurately measure their 0-60 times. Quarter mile time slips will also give 60 ft. and 1/8 mile time splits. This will give you a better idea of a cars acceleration ability. But be careful; 0-60 and 60 foot times are so short that a lot of it depends on the driver. They don't include reaction time, but they do reflect launching skills. I wouldn't judge much from them unless you know that you are comparing experienced drivers.

I don't know but I know this:

0-91mph = 8.5 sec
0-114mph= 12.7 sec

0-60 is probably in the 5 or sub 5 second range.

Using a program that calculates your 0-60mph time and uses your 1/8 mile time and mph, prior to the replacement of my clutch, flywheel, JDM FD, not so sticky tires, and retuning...it computed out as a 5.2 second 0-60mph, if I head to the strip this weekend I might get some more current times and see what it'll do...might be closer to a high 4.X time if I can get enough traction.

I have heard that you can check your 330ft time on your timeslip for an approximation of your 0-60 time.

On my best (crappy) 1/4mi run, that would equate to 6.43 second 0-60 with a 2.364 60ft.
Do not blow compressed air into your mouth or ears.
