Even used, they still fetch a lot of coin. I've never looked into used guns however.

For that price you could get a decent Glock I believe or an S&W new

I just want something that's a little more concealed than carrying my bow and arrow on my back. :)

Really and truly though - something that's comfortable, shoots smooth, and will potentially kill if needed. :) overcome shot several blocks and im sure you'll wil agree they aren't necessarily built for luxury.

^4-500 range you can get a grea weapon. (Springfield 1911, Smith and Wesson M&P, Glock, CZ, Springfield XD are all good choices)

Very nice HK Steezy, those pistols shoot wonderful and are built well, but they are pricey!

I bought a new Smith & Wesson M&PL 9mm a few weeks ago and I am EXTREMELY happy with my purchase. IMO it is the best pistol for under $900 and superior to a Glock in most aspects. I spent a lot of time choosing the correct pistol for me, I shot quite a few and did a lot of research. (I suggest anyone serious in purchasing a handgun, take the time to choose the correct one). Smith & Wessons customer service is also top notch.

A lot of ranges might have these guns available to rent right? I think that might be my best ticket in choosing the right one.

Yes most should have them. I shot several pistols at the gun shop/range I purchased my M&P from. This is def. the best way to get a feel for the grip, trigger pull, recoil, ease of use... I got mine from http://bobsnorfolk.com/ I spoke with Bob (owner) first time I went in, and he let me shoot whatever, handed me box of free ammo and told me to choose the right one lol... I was happy with the customer service and my choice.

WTF mate? Interwebz still down?

Thank god for 3G wifi tether eh? :)

Eric... take your time at the range and find the most comfortable gun for you. When you go, ask to "Rent the case" where you pay XYZ dollars to use/try any gun in their rental case. They will required you to shoot with their ammo.

That is the best way to figure out which gun YOU want.

Ahh That sounds exactly like what I want to do. Maybe they'll have the Dirty Harry special to tinker with

I believe I've shot a taurus 9mm, Glock 9mm, 10mm, Sig 9mm, beretta 9mm and that's it as far as pistols go. The sig for some reason put a soft spot on my heart.

In 3 weeks I'm getting my right eye touched up as i'm seeing about 20/50 out of it. I plan to hit to shooting range after that fo sho.

So the dad two doors down from us got arrested last night :o

I went to take out the trash and there are three Wake County sheriff's cars, lights off, and I see about six deputies around, and the guy in handcuffs. They didn't come in hot, so I don't know what the guy did. Wife and three teenage sons. I think he's big into the booze, I've seen him wobbling his way out of cabs lately.

Lots of room inside, ~1' shorter than the coupe'.
Swapped the Sunkw0rks shift knob over on Sunday... other than that just driving it around and getting use to the drive by wire and a different clutch feel.

It stays up in the revs a lot... ~2,900 = 60 mph.

It is very cool... would have been nicer with rear disc, XM integration, and ~50-75 more hp.... but then Honda could not keep them in stock. :P
It feels very top heavy... but I will get use to that.

Hope to get it on the alignment rack Wed... also check the tires and rotate them.
Shifter mods and an intake are on the short list.

Wife is in no way, shape or form anything resembling anything milf-ish. She's a raging megabitch on top of all that. No wonder the guy digs the bottle.

Cool encouraging (as in the world is still a decent good place) moment today:

Found out that a general manager at a large assisted living property we're in the process of providing service too is Deaf. She is a pro at reading lips and speaking back. Caught me off guard as you wouldn't think any corporate mgmt company would allow a deaf person to hold such a position. Two thumbs up from me. I'm glad the opportunity wasn't stripped from her because of her "disability." For this simple reason in this corrupt world, I'm encouraged.

They dint bring 'em in in 1996.
Now a dealer back in the day said the original plan was to release the S2000 as a Acura in the U.S., but they changed their mind and gave it to Honda and threw Acura a bone by bringing in the Type R to the USDM in 1997.

551 needs oil, trans fluid, water, and some juice in the batt..... and we'll see if she starts.

caR hasn't been on the road since it was totaled out/salvaged in 2001 i believe... we'll see if she rises from the dead tonight hopefully. :)
